What is the Holiday Activities and Food Programme?

The Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF), funded by the Department for Education, provides free holiday club sessions.  Shining Stars Nursery took part in the programme and offered a wide range of activities, including sport, baking, yoga, workshops and trips during the Easter, Summer and Winter school holidays in 2023/2024. Children also received a delicious cooked meal every day they attended.

Who was the Holiday Activities and Food Programme for? 

Our HAF programme was for children aged 4 -8 who were eligible for benefits-related free school meals.

Can I book a place for my child? 

Unfortunately, we are not taking part in the HAF programme at the moment.
