Come Join The Team

We currently have some exciting opportunities for people who have a passion for working with children to join our growing nursery group. If you are a qualified and experience childcare practitioner looking for a new challenge, please see our below vacancies for more information.

Come join our growing nursery group

We are opening TWO NEW NURSERIES and are looking for qualified and experienced practitioners, leaders and managers to join our team! Successful candidates may work in either of our three nurseries.

We will be offering term-time and full-time positions, caring for babiestoddlers and preschoolers.

Our established day nursery is currently full with a waiting list, featuring a soft play room, sensory  room and an outdoor classroom. Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, we hold a 5-star food hygiene rating and are 1 of just 3 nurseries in Derby to have achieved Millie’s Mark status; the gold standard in Paediatric first aid. Our management team are incredibly experienced and our Nursery Manager has previously managed Outstanding settings.

Both of the new nurseries will be opening early 2024. One will be based within the Rosehill Family Hub; providing an amazing opportunity for practitioners to work closely with health professionals based in a Council Children’s Centre.

The other will be located on Carlton Road (on the site of the old ‘Play and Learn nursery’) in the beautiful suburb of Littleover.

Successful candidates will be able to start right away.

Working for Shining Stars Nursery you can expect to be rewarded with a competitive salary, ongoing training and opportunities to progress your career within an expanding nursery group.
